RE: Inversion Unit

Inversion Unit

I ruptured Lower Lumbar number 4 disc in 1983 while swinging on a vine over a crevice in the Star Mountains in Papua New Guinea. The doctors wanted to remove my disc, but I refused, so a very innovative neurosurgeon introduced me to an inversion unit that he had constructed himself.
I no longer know his name or where his office is. He deserved a medal.
I have used various inversion units for the past 26 years. I took the doctor's invention to Japan and then to China. It was lost somewhere at sea. Back in Japan I got a pair of inversion boots and worked out in the park on a jungle gym. Back in the states in 2000 I bought a state of the art inversion unit from Big 5.
I frequently get up in the middle of the night and hang doing from twenty to thirty sit ups and pressing 26 lbs fifty or so times. I am now 83 years old but my stomach is as hard as a thirty year old.
