I'm a retiree who fought the fat boy program for the last five years of my career. I never found anything that really worked for me. Fitness was never really an issue, I was 20 lbs over what the Air Force said I should weigh, looked just fine in my uniform and could run 1 1/2 miles in 9 1/2 minutes.
Weight has always been a problem and I'd gotten up to 330 lbs. Not a good scenario for a man of 50. I've been on a medically supervised program for the last month or so. High protien, low fat, zero starch, zero sugar. Over-the-counter vitamins & minerals and a medication the supresses my appetite and stimulates my metobalism. This is the first program I've ever used that actually works. My weight loss for a month is 26 lbs. No BS. The program is called Healthy Figures and it works. Look it up under healthyfiguresweightloss. It's not Atkins cause there is too much fat in that diet. Too many calories in means no weight loss. Weight Watchers is a good way to go to lots of meetings and meet lots of very nice people, expecially middle aged ladies who consider 3 lbs per month a wonderful achievement. If you prefer not to wait around for psssible results, check it out. markja |
