Support recess!

Overweight teens were overweight kids. Schools have cut out 20 to 30 minutes of recess. This is mostly a budget issue because no one wanted recess duty and they didn't want to hire a recess monitor. This teaches slothful behavior.

I'm not fit person, and I am working by way back to being fit, so when I see these children who I can out perform, like climbing stairs, I know they will be unfit for life.

Well, one of the links do not work. :/ The running plan, I believe. Smile I plan on becoming as physically fit as I can. I'm well on my way. It just takes motivation, support (maybe not in some cases), and the willingness to go through some discomfort in order to obtain ones goals.

I'm not sure what you mean by "running schedule". Start out by walking any distance you are comfortable with, do that for 3 to 7 day's. Then start running at a slow pace for afew day's. Then start running, listen to your body. It will let you know when you've reached your limit.

After you are acclimated to running start pushing the envelope!

Keep smiling, everyone will wonder what you've been up to!

I meant the one with the broken link with the article, but thanks for your input Smile , I was just curious as to what a running schedule would entail.

I had to lose 100 to get into the marine corps. The best way to do it is to go to a nutritonist, and pay for a personal trainer. Then you'll gradually get there. Don't even talk to a recruiter until you're body and mind are ready. You don't wanna be crash dieting or doing any of those tricks they use to get you past the scale at meps. You don't wanna be one of those guys just making weight, or barely making the run. It won't do you or the service any good if you show up out of shape. Even if you put off joining for a year or so, so be it.

The best way to loose weight is to do yoga. A minimum of 20 minutes everyday yoga routine can improve circulation, reduce stress and make one feel young and vibrant...
