The ADVANTAGES of Solar Power greaty outweigh the present cost which is far less then what it was 10 years ago and we should all applaud Ft. Carson for their spending of our money. Get online DOD and America because it also works for Larry Hagmen out in California, in-fact he powers 4-6 families homes with his energy reserves and still sells to California Edison.

This is bull. Why didn't Ft. Carson just build the array themselves and sell the excess power back to the grid? Instead, they will only end up saving half a million dollars a year for the next 17 years. This has got to be the result of some pork barrel spending, otherwise the solar array would be owned by Uncle Sam, and really saving some money for the taxpayers. Seriously, half a mil?
