My husband is stationed in Ankeny Iowa on active duty guard. Our BHA went DOWN $100 a month. What's up with that?

They said an average of 7.3% and my rate went up $3.00 a month. Boy, they sure make it sound good but then you have to see the fine print (average) Just like dealing with a car salesman.
I hope someone is geting more out of this than me.

Yeah 7.3% my "you know what".

Mine didn't change at all, at least it didn't go down I guess. But the percentage of increase must be lining some government official's pocket.

I am a active duty Marine stationed in oceanside ca. My BAH is just enough to put me in the slums outside of the base. Other services ( Army or Air Force) get COLA (cost of living allowance) for the same area. As a Marine we do not get that. Now tell me way a Marine living in the same area dose not rate the same.
