Okay..... so how does this "design technology" capture stormwater runoff? Where does the runoff go? How is it processed?
What ever just more of my tax money being spent on this global warming garbage. why not spend the money that you would on "LID" but spend it on equipment for the troops in iraq, so they can be safer over there.
Some of the newest methods to eliminate or significantly reduce storm water runoff is with green roofs (looks like a lawn on the roof) or permiable surfaces, for like driveways and parking lots. It basically lets the rain soak into the ground (or the roof) instead of creating a river on the paved surfaces and putting it on the storm drain. It's a natural way to prevent all the motor oil and other junk we use from getting dumped into the ocean, or directly on the beach, which is the case here where the Atlantic fleet is stationed. The Green roofs also lower the power bills of the buildings they are on, by cooling and insulating the building, AND, it helps disquise a building from satelites. Like a natural camoflage.
