Have the drill instructers order them not to kill themselves without permission.

Suicide is NOT a laughing matter number's! If you knew something about it you wouldn't treat it so lightly.

My light hearted nature and the way I deal with life maybe the cure to the question of why some people are compelled to kill themselves and I am not. I am a VET and know what its like to feel trapped and over burdened. No matter what, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Take to much stock in expectations and eventually you will be humbled. Life has a funny way of showing graditude for all you did and do. Don't expect anything, shake off the bad with a degree of humor and appreciate what you have.

Well said! Being that I'm a nurse and was a Corpsman with the Marines and a Medic with the ARMY,I have a lean towards the serious with certain topic's.Some people will not let emotion's out,I think that is why suicide strikes at all level's,all race's.I just want folk's who might be "considering" suicide to see that there is help, and a better alternative.
No harm,No foul. Beer

My Dad was the kind of guy that didn't have any issues, just created them in others. People that take to much abuse and never fight to survive are, in my opinion, capable of loosing the will to live. You do not have to hurt anyone while sticking to your beliefs but you do have to believe in them enough to prevent others from running you, emotionally, into the ground.
