Not sure what this "comic" strip is supposed to be saying. However, Gary Trudeau has made it know in the past his disgust for the military and for the conservatives. Gary needs to stick to the crayons and leave the defense of the country to the military.

Well, Trudeau started out protesting the Vietnam War, so don't expect him to change his tune.

That comic strip is several years old.

"The more things change the more they remain the same."

And it also goes after the press. At that time, the troops were practically tripping over "correspondents."

Great, first the anti-military posters on the boards, and now Doonesbury. Is this place going to hell, or what?

i have always like his work. he has a great series about a wounded vet. if you don't like his work then don't read it, right? it is also called freedom of speech something i am defending.

I, for one, must stand corrected about Gary. I'm glad to see him doing something positive for the troops.

Gary Trudeau has made fun of "POLICY" and Politicians (including Pres. Bush) but in his comic strip has ALWAYS treated soldiers with respect.

Whats wrong with THIS particular comic?

Embedded reporters going out in the field with Army troops? Not very likely. They can get the latest body count half blasted on scotch from within the green zone.
