Sounds to me like another Marine homesteading while the rest are over in Iraq killing insurgents. I say put this Marine down now.

Sounds like the Royal Peruvian Horse Marines, they ride sea horses.

Well, you forget that the term "saddle up" came from the Marines time in Haiti, where they were literally horse Marines.

I was stationed at MCLB Barstow from '92-'96, and was also a member of the Mounted Colorguard. I knew Honey in her prime years - she was a beautiful horse that rode proudly in many a parades in her career. All my memories of the mounted colorguard stay close at heart! Wish I could go back! Of course my favorite horse will always be Oakey, who is also retired and now residing with another Former Marine I believe in Arizona. OOH RAH!!
