RE: http://www.military.com/features/0,15240,104739,00.html
Wrong accreditation since a System Engineer from MCTSSA, Steven St.Laurent, in 1999, was the person who developed the idea of manned Marine space station outpost on both polar regions, adding space transport to deliver Marines to any location on the earth within 45-minutes. This was his submission to US Marine SysCom, along with his smart sniper round, plasma rifles, embedded smart GI ID tags, electronic computer AI embedded camo utilities uniform, and few others. All of which were proposal how to change technology for the US Marine Corps by the year 2050. 2003, this concept was written as a next future conop. Again, his proposal was to ensure US Space Command could deploy Marines to any portion of the earth, as a rapid deployment force. |

Maybe they'll go with the Pelican Dropship used by the Marines in the Xbox video game, "HALO".
