I know this movie was inspired by a toy/cartoon, but c'mon. Other than the less than juvenile dog humpings and 'wacky' (annoying) robot twins and other Ewok'ish annoyances I have to wonder this; If you have an elite team of Decepticon hunters, why are they equipped with M4's and other seemingly ineffective small arms? Why do they always show Predator Drones flying nap of the earth when their whole point is to fly high and undetected?(Of course we'll overlook how the one in this film took off with a propeller and magically went into afeter burner while 'attacking'. Yes Megan Fox is a sight to behold, but how many sweaty. spray-on-tan close ups do we really need? Like most sequels they took what people reacted to in the first one, and ram a mega-dose of it down your throat. Couldn't wait for it to end-which seemed like forever.
I agree with you on the many inaccurate points of the movie. I saw this movie with my 13 year old son and my 70 year old Father. And the SEX and DRUG scenes made me cringe. Their were many very young children in the audience. DON”T TAKE YOUNG CHILDERN TO SEE THIS IT HAS VERY ADULT SCENES. I WOULDN’T TAKE ANYONE UNDER 17, UNLESS YOOU WANT TO BE ANSWERING A LOT OF QUESTION ON THE WAY HOME. This is not the same movie as the first one…But an enjoyable adult movie.
Where do I even begin...I may misquote Megan Fox BUT The long of the short of it is that she was recently quoted as to what "she" would do if the Earth were to be under a threat of being destroyed by transformers. She stated that she would "negotiate" for them to blow up the Middle states of the U.S. where all the Red neck hillbillies are. Well I grew up a transformer fan when it was a true cartoon. YES I grew up in Oklahoma in a very small town and I am proud to be a "reneck" who knows his manners and how to respect his elders. Thats what rednecks do...sorry if her nose is so high in the air to never visit such a state. She may under stand she is speaking out of context when she stereotypes whole states! Due to her comment..guess they won't see my money for either of the transformer movies! Sincerely SGT K
Its a brainless, action movie. Theres no intelligence to the dialogue. It was too long. A lot of crap couldve been removed to cut it down to 2 hours. Best part of the movie to me was the 2012 preview in the beginning. But lets be real about this, its a freaking movie about good robots battling bad robots. You get what you pay for.
The first movie was a lot better. Why would a movie that's designed for young boys be filled with so much foul language and innuendo. I feel like I should have walked out.
