Deep Throat is the pseudonym given to the secret informant who provided information to Bob Woodward of the The Washington Post about the involvement of United States President Richard Nixon's administration in what came to be known as the Watergate scandal.
And the Watergate scandal was simply a political war between the Democrats and Republicans. We fried a President over something that takes place all the time, then and now. He had spied on the Dems, just as JFK spied on the Repubs.
I only know that our current sexual freedoms enjoyed today came about by the 60s movement and the release of "Deep Throat" and "Behind The Green Door." I still believe this nation has retained too much of it's puritanism when it comes to the real life condition known as sex with the sexual organs.
