RE: http://forums.military.com/eve/forums
Hello, I am looking for more information about whether and which states offer in-state (or discounted) tuition rates to nonresident active duty servicemen and women for graduate level studies. I know this is available for undergrad studies, but haven't been able to confirm if it also holds true for graduate level education. I appreciate any information, including website urls, to verify this. Thank you, Jung |

You will have to check college by college to compare I think. Going to depend on whether or not it is a private or state college and its usually up to the college as to whether they offer a military waiver. All opinions I express on this web site are as a private individual. I am not representing my employer in any shape, means, form, manner or in any official capacity. |

To follow up to my original question:
I am not in the service and so do not know the systems that a servicemember would be familiar with. I am wondering, is there a main point of contact that an active duty individual can go to for all educational resources and questions, including understanding the benefits available to him/her within that state? ie, which schools would honor the in-state tuition rate for nonresident active duty service members? Who is that person called? I'm sure it differs for each branch? Is there a webpage on Military.com or the Department of Defense's site that has this info? I am writing an article about this and would love to be able to link to a site/source of direct information for such readers. Thank you! |
