Yes it does. Read up on the rules at www.gibill.va.gov and please don't start multiple threads with the same question.

Just to add fuel for the fire If you are an AGR which is an Active Guard Reserve. This is also active duty Title 32 you do not qualify for the Post 9/11 GI Bill. Kind of sad because you recruit someone who is going into the reserves and they go to basic and then MOS training and this is over 90 days title 10 they qualify for it. What this means is that you have to be on title 10 orders for more than 90 days so if you are a full time employee for the Guard you don't qualify unless you got mobilized.

What is that saying? We are not here to make policy we are just here to enforce it! Sometimes life sucks and we don't get things our way but, we have to drive on. Stay motivated all you wardogs out there did my twenty and don't get the GI Bill oh well!

To quinones_1:

I'm shocked that Army AGRs wouldn't qualify for the post 9/11 GI Bill. Especially after the contributions of the Reserves after 9/11. And here you were leading that charge as their AC sponsors. I spent over 15 of my 25 years as a Naval Officer with a TAR (Training and Admin of Reserves) designator. I know what we did to keep the Fleet stocked with qualified Reservists, and if someone tried to deny me educational benefits because of that, I'd raise holy hell. Make them change the laws.

Stay with it, my friend.

Congress is trying to get you Title 32'ers included in Chapter 33. You were meant to be included. They are distracted by the healthcare rucous I suppose.

Yes, SOME members of Congress have submitted changes to the Post 9/11 GI Bill to fix this and other problems. It's a shame most won't make through the various committees this year.
