Getting your degree is the key to a great job and being competitive on the outside. Can't hurt you in the military either. I got my MBA online and it was actually harder than attending traditional classroom courses. First, you have to be effective and efficient in your communications. You don't have the same relationship with your instructors so you get away with nothing. Secondly, deadlines are just that. Dead! If you like to procrastinate or be spoon fed, don't do online classes. You have to be organized and willing to be very flexible. Holidays are not always respected and excuses are not going to go far. Deal with it. The beauty is that you can complete school and still have a life and career with a little control over your time. The downside is you have to work twice as hard to network with classmates. Get your degree! Make sure the school is respected for it's content and real-world relevance. Also, plan to spend 16 to 20 hours a week getting a Master's. Did I mention checking out the school? There are schools that are more than willing to accept your hard earned dollars and provide a limited return on your investment. Get some respected opinions before signing up.
