Look for Halibut hook at any good commercial fishing supply company. If in Seattle, look up Pacific Fisherman Shipyard in Ballard.

I've seen them made locally with a welder and scrape metal laying around. Work great and no money spent if it goes overboard. Make it to your dimensions wanted in the style of the picture above and you should be good to go!

Find a local elevator company and tell them you want to buy a rail hook. I have three or four of those suckers lying around my warehouse in Chelsea if you need one?
