OPS/QM2 on Clamp 2000-2003. Didn't really know how good I had it until I left. Them boys on deck were the hardest working guys I'd ever seen...Our AOR had the # 1 aid knockdown rate in Coast Guard....

I read you profile and the name rang a bell. I got to Relieve Jim Holston again on Patoka a few years later then tried to chase him to Chipewa but got Kickapoo instead.

Was on the CLAMP & we built some lights and ranges, worst knock down rate in the CG I think was the Houston Ship channel. We worked our butts off but we had alot of fun as well. Hope to go back to a WLIC or Rivertender soon.

Don't forget about the KENNEBEC. I know that we weren't a tug and barge, but a WLIC all the same.
