I've searched and searched but to no avail.
Somewhere along disconnecting a VM-100 stand at jetty; the wires inside the AC to DC converter box were disconnected. So now I have three plugs that need to be reconnected into the AC to DC converter box, and I lack the knowledge and the TECH book was not much help. For clarities sake: AC to DC box has two terminal blocks, an AC to DC converter, and a reset switch. -120v power source -1 FA-232 -AC to DC converter Box Thank you for your help. |

I was able to find a little more data but it raised more questions.
P3 is power, that was easy enough. P2: -2 conductor Pins: 4- System Relay 5- Telemetry Control (RTN) P1: -5 conductor Pins: 1- System Relay 2- External Reset Return 3- System Relay 5- RS-232 Return 7- RS-232 RXD That's from the tech pub. I believe P2 is dedicated to alarm contacts for sound. According to the tech pub, it is dedicated to local field use. "Two alarm contacts are available. One set of contacts is for the SOUNDING SIGNAL, and the other is for a SYSTEM FAIL alarm." This system is used on a jetty. |
