Does anybody know if there are any ANT Teams slated for closure.

I have heard of several that are being combined with Stations to become STANTS, but I'm not sure if you would consider that a closure or not. I do.

ANT Kenosha, WI and ANT Greenbay, WI are both becoming STANT in FY 08, or are scheduled to be.

Sta Green Bay and ANT Green Bay joining?? I have the Station on my dreamsheet for FY08 OIC....then again, I have every OIC opening on my dreamsheet! This is the first time I've ever had more than 10-12 picks. I think I have around 30 or so on this dreamsheet...

did Station Green bay get a new facility? the ANT was in the end of a warehouse, it was nice ! lots of room to work on you personel vehicles and whatever but the station was a bit cramped and had no room to store the boats inside during the long winters. GOT TO LOVE THEM PACKERS

No different than ATM. Most people say ATM Machine. So does that mean Automated Teller Machine Machine??

But you work at an ANT. AS for ATM's I have never heard ATM Machine just plain ATM. Or do 2 wrongs make a right???

You always go to an ATM Machine and use your PIN Number.

STANT Lorain is no longer going to be a Station/ANT. If all goes according to the plan, it will be just a station with no ATON responsibility next spring.

that was so dang funny i was cracking up for at least 5 minutes.

ANT Green Bay and STA Two Rivers are going to make up STANT Two Rivers. STA Green Bay is a AUX STA there are only the OINC (BMC) and an MK2 (EPO) who are stationed there I think they may have a couple of reserves attaced also. I know that this is supposed to happen JAN 2008. The same is happening with STA/ANT Kenosha.

So why are we joining some, but splitting others back up? I am headed to Lorain, OH next summer and know that it will loose the ATON side prior to me getting there.

Chief - I can not speak for the Western Great Lakes, but the Eastern ones are being split up to align with the Secto AORs.
