I am trying to find out where you can order new unit awards for cutters or I should say the ribbons on the side of the ship. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Try sea-display.com. I bought metal, magnetic ribbon bars, call signs and TACT award displays. They're more expensive, but they're a more permanent option. They don't fade, blister or peel and they can be removed and reapplied for paint projects. They also have the sticker style if the command won't spring for the high dollar items.
