Just got orders to Coxswain C for 07JAN and I was wondering what to expect in terms of training and also some logistical things like what to bring etc. I've gone on the website and whatnot already, but I'd figure I'd ask just to see if anyone has any pointers. Thanks
You will do towing, small boat navigation, SINS package should be a breeze by the time you leave, dewatering, fire fighting, BECCES, ORM, search patterns, SAR Scenarios, etc. You will be underway for about 90 hours total. Bring your cold wx ppe if you have it. Report in ODU's. Make sure you already meet all the Prerequisites before coming.
