I have heard a scuttlebutt several times these past 2 weeks that the CG is losing the height and weight standards, and going to use the body mass index(BMI)...has anyone one heard any truth to this?

Personally I think the majority of the CG would fall into the overweight category.

How can they make this work because it doesn't seem too accurate?

If this were to happen, we would see a big reduction in force!!! Just wait and see.

So supposed at the last command cadre class, they mentioned this topic... I heard kinda the same thing. They were going to get rid of the way we do it now ("because there is no scientific data proving it accurate") and going with what the other branches do.. Height and weight. That's it....

We'll see what happens
