The deadline has now passed, what are your top 5? Then as people start getting word, they can come back and post.
my top 5 included all the BM "A" School instructor positions, also have my name in the hat for the CGC Pelican XPO critical fill
CGC Kukui, CGC Margaret Norvel, CGC Bristol Bay, ATG Midpac, and CGC Hawk. Total of 28 picks.
Good Luck All!This message has been edited. Last edited by: Coast_Okie,
So pretty much St Petersburg 1-4 and Charleston for #5
Edit: 28 picks submitted / priority 5This message has been edited. Last edited by: BM1Gardiner,
How many did everyone put on there dream sheet?
How much sea time you have? (DWO cert?) As a Pri5 that's a pretty rough top 5 bro. 28 picks is solid though! Good luck
All BM A instructor jobs, then all the 87 and 110s, then all SMTC instructor jobs, and 2 stations. 27 picks Pri 5
so much for the Pelican, that was a pretty quick turnaround on that critical fill. I'm priority 5 also. after all the bm "a" school instructor jobs, i took a shot at the eagle, then a bunch of 87's and 110's and a bunch of stations. 40 picks in all
Listed the same top 5 of St. Pete PB's plus Yellowfin. After that I listed the rest of the cutters on the East Coast. Good luck to everyone. I hope this goes as fast as the Priority 1-3's.
11mths sea time (i know that's alot! as a non-rate, so it doesnt count), no DWO cert, been back to back stations so i'm pretty sure i'll be getting underway since on the sitrep it says expect to do something different if you've been back to back at the mission, just don't know what size boat. I listed white hulls on bottom of my list, just in case...
I have 14 on my list. This will be my final tour.
same top five as dameatballzspicey minus Muskegon
Gotcha, The reason I asked is I had very similar pics as a pri5 and ended up with the leftover list, lesson learned there! In my experience the AO's wont usually assign a pri5 that dosn't hold a DWO cert to a PB because the tour is too short and of course they're usually all gone by the time they get to the pri5's. Of course that's not always the case but I've seen that happen more often than not. I ended up putting 24 ships on my 2008 resume and ended up finally getting my letter on a 140'. I dont care what the memo's or force notes say, getting U/W is extremely comptetitive, without a realistic resume we can find ourselves on the beach more often that not. Good luck on the orders brother, I hope you get hooked up.
31 picks on my list. All PB's and 4 STA's. Good Luck all!
Sta Channel Islands
Sta Castle Hill
27 in all, Stations and anything 140'
Anyone put in for the Ouachita? This message has been edited. Last edited by: Gunn101,
I put in for the Ouachita.
But here are my top five.
28 cutters and 1 station(Sta Kenosha), and some BM 'A'/BFC jobs.
First 5 are 110s from key west, been to three stations in 5 years so I was told I'm getting underway since I can't fleet up where I'm at now
i put in for the Ouachita too, I've put in for every XPO critical fill, so far to no avail. anyone know the updated slating deadline, since they pushed back the e-resume deadline?
Detailer stated they would start slating today, but since it is a holiday, I would assume tomorrow.
dameatballzspicy do you have any aton background?
I too put in for the Ouachita, and I remember the detailers telling me last time that they weren't going to make a hole to fill a hole. That being said, not sure if someone who is already slated will get picked up, beings that the deadline for the fill is the 22nd. As they (EPM) have changed my billet from a BM1 to a DC1, I would hope could give me a shot.
