I recall a month or two ago someone posting that they had a checklist or spreadsheet for XPO reliefs and/or admin program management. I'm heading to my first 87' XPO job next year and would like to frontload myself as much as possible. If anyone has anything that might help I would appreciate if they would post it or email it to me. I'm in global. Thanks in advance for anyone who can hook me up.

When you go to CO/OINC/XO/XPO Afloat at the LDC in New London they will give you a ton of references and checklists. If this is your first 87 go to the cutter forces web site and download the Indoc Manual, that should help you with fam.

I created an excel spreadsheet that might help you out. It will help you track Leave, Medical, Weigh Ins, Quals, Drills, Training...you name it. I will email it to you.

having a spread sheet is awesome.. I would also grab a MLC compliance check sheet and a RFO check sheet . they cant really help you now but are key when you actually do your relief. hopefully the guy your relieving is squared away. Good Luck!!!!

Roger that one! I would definitely have a compliance checksheet in hand and ask to see their previous inspection results to help you out.

Also a couple of us BM1's on the CG Central discussion added some things that XPO's have to do that are not everyday, safety boards training boards stuff like that. Also I set reminders in outlook when I first got there and that works great.

home made check lists work great......HOWEVER nothing beets the good old MLC Compliance Check list......make sure you use it and find out when you are up for a compliance check...or if htey already had one read what the results are and make sure who ever you relieve has fixed the discrepancies.
