Waiting list? One thing we all do, starting with your first day in Boot Camp, is "wait"! "Hurry up and wait" is a popular term for a reason, chances are the answer to yoru questions is "yes". Nothing against you, but questions like yours bother me a little. Again, probably not your fault, but your question is best answered internally. There has been so much message traffic on any special solicitation or assignment, each listing a Point Of Contact (POC). Either yourself, or someone who routinely monitors CGMS, can look at the most recent message regarding your question and find out who the POC is. Then email that person with your questions. The messages usually layout the process fairly clearly. If you are on active duty, also consider asking you own shipmates. If a Reservist, ask your servicing FOT. Also, there are now plenty of people who have participated in these solicitations, ask one of them. Good luck, keep digging for your answers.
