So If the coast guard makes me go to dental. Do i do it on my time or their time? My feeling on the issue is that they are making me go. So there for do I go during the work day. Is this the correct though?

Kind of a wierd question for the Boatswainsmate Bulletin board no? Why not just ask your supervisor if you can?

lardman421,
You are always in the CG first off. If your command lets you go during the word day, so be it. The time that i have been in, I have not had a single problem about which time I go. The CGC that i am currently on, makes our dental appointments. So we dont really have a choice when we go unless it impeads our work load. In a nut shell, it's all up to your command.

Ok, I’m going to bite the proverbial “Baited Hook” on this one, knowing full well how this poster likes to stir the pot.

Is it a civilian dentist or at a Coast Guard Medial Clinic?

If a CG Clinic, is it co-located at your Unit?

Let’s see how this thread turns out!!

Your profile says that your are a PO1, so I have to ask WTFO? Partner, if really don't know the answer to that then you need another type of medical appointment. And if you are just trying to stir the pot with this nonsense then you need an appoinment in the old Bosn Hole.

Where I'm at there its all non-cg. And they can only get me in a certain times, so there for it will be like 2 to 3 weeks before I can be seen on a day off and when you work 7 to 430 m-f its kind of hard you know. Well I think that I should sit down with my command and eat popcicles until we get this thing solved. Well when you work for a etcs its hard to get him to agree when your a bm.

Its kinda like if you have to ask, then maybe it s not quite time to take those training wheels off. Do you have subordants? If so what would you tell them? You're all growsed up now, time to start acting like it. Don't forget to floss.

His Bio states that he has Master's in Education. Good grief!

Surely, he's trying to have fun with this thread.
