Be careful what you wish for! I remember how surprised I was haven served on a 378' and a number of small boats. Then one day my brother was showing me the bridge of the Padre, a 110', and just the rocking at the dock in Key West, I started turning a slight shade of green. Eek

It will feel good after it stops hurting.

270 isn't all that bad. Rode one across the Altantic Pond. Spent 3 years on it would go back again. When the stuff hit the fan, it wasn't very comfortable. But it never got so hairy that I felt scared. But I did have to lodge my boots under my rack every once and while.

Did 2 yrs on a 110 in AK and 3 on a 270. Ride was bad. Heard that the 270's fins are 2 small for how top heavy they are. They just roll bad. You figure out the bad areas on them though. Radio/FN berthing seemed to be worst on the 270. The watch chairs have seat belts for a reason!

Just gota make sure the hanger breaks are engaged prior to going U/W. A lose hanger in 20ft sees may look funny at first, but alot of stuff gets broke.
