McClellan has obviously done a bit of soul searching. I emphasize with him as I was a supporter of Clinton until the Wako authorization of using powdered micro-fine CS on women and children. It was banned from use and determined to be inhumane for use against the Nazis and was supposed to be destroyed back in the late 40's to early 50's, but kept on hand in storage by ignorance and oversight by the Texas National Guard.
There are times when real Men and Women realize those they supported with unwaivering fervor was in error and in good conscience have to speak the truth regardless of possible personal embarrassment and fall from grace of persons they most adamantly admired and trusted.
Maybe he is a good guy now, but I watched numerous press briefings where he ignored serious questions about the competence of those in charge and the credibility of evidence which led to the deaths of many innocents. But he's right about one thing, the press didn't do their job as the gate keepers of information and an informed people is a free people. Know your Constitution and its history, don't trade your rights for some worthless slogan.
