Spooky title, sounds like a great story though.

I have this book and even as a "Leg Infantry Officer", I was stunned as I read of the running big gun battle that the Houston fought in the Sunda Straight...to the last round, last practice round and with a Marine Gunnery Sgt still firing a 50 Cal from the signal bridge as she went down....her crew refusing to strike her flag. Truly on par with the Alamo in that the participants knowing the outcome and still gave their all!
