I am sure this question has been asked plenty of times before, but I can't find it in the posts, and I don't want to look through every single post to try and find the answer.

I understand that being Airborne qualified isn't necessary for the job, and I also undestand that getting a slot in Airborne School is dependent upon what Army unit you will be attached to.

My question is what are the chances of getting a slot at jump school, and ranger school since we are talking about possibilities? How many tacps are getting to jump school these days? Is selection for it completely random? Is it merit based? Is it based on senority?

Any input would be great. Thanks.

Any info

Peep out romad.com and get on those message boards, alot more activity and TACP running there, you'll get the answer. First question I'd be looking for is not about the badge's but how to be successful at the tech school and doing the job. Scare badges come later and thats rules to live by no matter the careerfield Wink
