Which Indoc? Last time I checked contacts was not an option for PJ Indoc as too much risk for eye injury and eye infection, not to mention loss of contact during required training activities.
Contact lenses are typically prohibited while performing activities of many pararescue duties for the same reason.
I had perfect vision until after I retired from the AF, so I have no personal experience to relay regarding birth control glasses.

Having just left Kirtland a couple years ago, I used to see lots of PJ candidates wearing BCG's and the Chemical mask inserts while training around base. Especially during morning PT sessions.
Thanks a bunch. sorry to leave it out but I am talking about pararescue Indoc. I couldn't see how wearing contacts would work during Indoc, thats pretty much what I expected. I have talked to some pj's after Indoc that are allowed to wear contacts but to what extent I'm not sure. Just curious, thats the least of my problems for a while.
