Hello, I'm a freshmen in college thats wants to become a PJ. But the only thing That I'm worried about is my eye sight. I still have 4 years to go before i join the AF but PJ is what I want to do and I wont take no for an answer. So heres my questions: I have not had my eye sight tested in a long time, But I'm going to have PRK done on my eyes to correct my vision. Is PRK alright to have done or do they rather have some other type of surgery done? Second Question: If i do have my eyes worked on before I join and try and become a PJ well it hurt my chances?
Thank you for your time.

LASIK Surgery is not authorized

PRK is potentially waiverable after 1 year.

FYI: The Pre-Operative refractive error has a cannot be over requirement. Go to specialtactics dot com and start researching. The info is there.
