Want to share important information with all of you about getting the H1N1 Vaccine through your TRICARE benefit.

* The H1N1 vaccine is expected to be available sometime in October 2009
* All active duty military personnel or activated reservists will be vaccinated
* TRICARE’s allowing non-active duty Prime beneficiaries to obtain the vaccine from any TRICARE-authorized provider without point of service costs from October 1, 2009 to May 1, 2010. This waiver is only for the H1N1 immunization
* Standard beneficiaries can get H1N1 and other flu immunizations without paying cost shares under the new preventive services waiver in effect as of Sept. 1, 2009

Learn more about how to obtain the H1N1 vaccine by clicking on the link below which will link you to TRICARE’s Flu Resource Web site

I will not be getting this vaccine for myself or my kids. I just hope and pray that nothing happens to my husband because the gov't wants to push something through manufacturing so fast and not really check out the side effects and long term effects.
