My retired, Marine Major pilot, spouse and best friend is a PhD up at Burlington, near the Greater Cincinnati Airport. My buddy is still flying for the airline, since they raised the age limit to 65.
She has started her own business working with PTSD patients in hydro-therapy. She came across this research and told me about it the other night, after we were discussing my condition and speculation of uranium contact.
I decided to Google and got several hits on these studies. I could only speculate another possible cause for my illness, but I was using aspartame, instead of sugar, as soon as it came out, including looking for it in food and drinks. When I read the report about a possible link to migraines, I ceased using it.

While still employed as a LEO, I had at the very least, one migraine a month. Now that I'm retired, I have had no more than...jeez...about less then six or seven in over four years. I drink a lot less diet soda containing aspartame now, but I am no longer under the stress of my L/E job and the commute as I had been.
