Buckeyes were tough. Hard to watch Hawk smash Brady, even though he did it four times. I look for a repeat of big Big10 whens next year, as well.

Internet polls are 2-1 in favor of Texas. Having seen both play multiple times this year, I think Texas has a better mix of the three levels. With the exception of an elite game with Ohio State, Texas handled all other major competition, unlike USC, who struggled more than once.

I hope we capitalize on USC's secondary. That is where we are most likely to gain yards.

After all the injuries Penn State suffered in the game, it's a good thing "UGLY" wins. Big Grin At least the Big Ten won, when it counted.

The difference will be the Buckeyes will probably go in as #1 and with a quarterback, who can win the game.

It's too bad Matt Leinart couldn't show class and grace in his interview, instead of saying, "We have a better team. They just won the game".
Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't logic play some part in receiving an education? Ronny Sikaly made a similar statement, when Indiana beat Syracuse in the '87 NCAA Basketball Championship.
Humility just takes longer in some people.

YER TOO TUFF ON HIM, TORCH...

HAVING BEEN ABLE TO COMPETE IN TWO SPORTS IN COLLEGE (AND ALL THREE IN HS), I KNOW THAT COMPETITIVE FIRES TAKE TIME TO GO OUT ( USUALLY HOURS)AND HE WILL GIVE A BETTER INTERVIEW AFTER HIS DISAPPOINTMENT SUBSIDES...

HE WAS TIRED AND MAD AND GROGGY...AND OBVIOUSLY NOT USED TO LOSING!!

Somehow, I just don't find that as an excuse. I've competed through semi-pro level football, basketball, and baseball. I probably am the worse person I know at losing, but I've never failed to give credit, when it's due. Otherwise, my dad probably would have knocked me off my feet. I obviously learned humility at a very early age. Big Grin It comes from having a hardcore father.

YOU WERE NOT ON NATIONAL TV SECONDS AFTER THROWING AN INCOMPLETE PASS AND LOSING A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP...

I AM NOT OFFERING AN EXCUSE FOR HIM...HE NEEDS NONE.

I WAS OFFERING MY PERSONAL OPINION OF, OR EXPLANATION FOR, HIS FRUSTRATING COMMENTS.

I THINK HE IS A CLASS YOUNG MAN AND HE SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED THE 2ND HEISMAN AHEAD OF HIS RB.

ALONG THOSE LINES...THE HEISMAN SHOULD NOT BE AWARDED BEFORE THE BOWL GAMES ARE OVER...WE ALL KNOW NOW WHO THE BEST PLAYER IN THE NATION THIS YEAR WAS...WOW!!

467 MULTIPURPOSE YARDS AND 3 TOUCHDOWNS AND NEVER GOT EXCITED. I'D SAY HE TRULY DESERVED THE HEISMAN. I WASN'T TOO CRAZY ABOUT HIS LITTLE DANCE ON THE PLATFORM, BUT HE DEFINITELY DESERVED THE PRAISE. NOW, I HAVE TO WONDER WHETHER OR NOT HE'LL GO PRO, AS CORSO AND KIRK SUGGESTED HE DO LAST NIGHT. IF HE CAME BACK TO TEXAS FOR A SENIOR SEASON, THEY COULD BE JUST AS TOUGH, BUT DOES HE RISK INJURY TO DO THAT, OR HAS HE ACCOMPLISHED ALL HE WANTS TO DO?
THAT'S ONE REASON I'M HOPING MICHAEL BUSH COMES BACK TO LOUISVILLE NEXT YEAR, INSTEAD OF GOING PRO. HOPEFULLY, WITH HIS INJURIES, HE'LL FEEL LIKE HE NEEDS TO PROVE MORE THAN HE DID THIS YEAR.
ANOTHER RUMOR, COACH PETRINO MAY BE OFFERED THE MICHIGAN JOB.
