Since Winter is almost near and many members experience the four (4) seasons, I felt this would be a decent thread to report the weather in your area of the Country.

Since I use WEATHERBUG, my WX reports are forecast and reported from about three (3) miles from our dwelling, here in NJ.

For Sunday:

Today: High in the low 50's, clear.
Tonight: A low of 32 degrees, clear.

Ohio, the land where if you don't like the weather, stick around, it will change in 5 minutes! Big Grin
I live quite near the Ohio River up on a hill, where we have all four seasons sometimes in one week. I love this place! Clapping

I will cast no stones!

YAH, WHEN YOU'RE USE TO THE TEENS AND 20s IN DECEMBER, 50 IS RATHER BALMY.

***SIDEBAR***

IF YOU'RE USING WEATHERBUG, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A GOOD ANTISPYWARE. THIS SOFTWARE IS NOTORIOUS FOR HELPING SPIES AND TROJAN HORSES INTO YOUR SYSTEM.

NO SNOW PROJECTION FOR THE 25TH. WILL PROBABLY STAY WARM THROUGH THE MONTH. Frown Curse
I REMEMBER IN THE 50s AND 60s, WE COULD HAVE 24" OF SNOW ON THE GROUND BY CHRISTMAS, WITH 4' DRIFTS ACROSS THE ROAD AND 8'-10' DRIFTS GOING UP THE SIDE OF BUILDINGS.
THE '76-'77 BLIZZARD HAD DRIFTS SO HIGH, WE WERE JUMPING OFF THREE STORY BARRACKS INTO THEM AT GRISSOM. HAD TO SPRAY THE WALLS OF SNOW WITH FOOD COLORING, LIKE THEY DID AT GOOSE BAY, ALONG THE ROADS. A LOT OF PEOPLE RAN INTO WALLS OF SNOW UNTIL THEY DID.

Excuse me, may I chime in here?
Currently, it is cloudy, humid & 34, according to my computer. The highs for the week are 40-50F, which is NOT normal Dec weather in the midwest. We even had a thunderstorm last night! My husband was floored! He'd never heard thunder in Dec! Usually when thunder is heard here, it means "thundersnow", which he hadn't heard of either.
Have a good day!

This unusally tepid weather is supposedly due to El Nino.

Long range forecast for NY/NJ around the 24th and 25th of this month, predicts an Artic Blast. Eek Mad Until then, it appears that the temps will remain in the 50's during the day.

It is always a trade-off...enjoying mild winters is the biggest reason me and the boss lady tolerate the outrageous summer heat and humidity living down here in bayou country...

Then, of course, there is the Gulf shrimp.... Big Grin
