GIVE ME A BREAK! CONSERVATIVES ARE THE MOST HYPOCRITICAL BUNCH OF SNIVELING COWARDS THAT EXIST! They are an obnoxious bunch of privileged whiners, who could give a rat's ass about anyone or anything, as long as it doesn't fuck up their stupid career!

FOX News is a lot like everything else Conservative: boring, out of touch with reality, repetitive, conditioned, and did I say boring? With the exception of listening to Dr. Rosenfeld on the Sunday Morning 10:30 show, I've grown tired of FOX and find CBS Sunday Morning more informative, colorful, and varied. Same can be said for Anderson Cooper's 360 10:00pm to 12:00pm weekday show. Covers more material and never repeats anything during the show.

That may work on something else, but not on networks. I don't make it a point to watch any cable news, unless nothing else educational or humorous is on, but FOX repeats stories constantly and Sean Hannity is the biggest twit on FOX. Other than Sunday Morning, I don't watch CBS for news, but you won't see Anderson doing constant repeats on his show.
It doesn't have anything to do with your feeling of who is or isn't Liberal. CNN covers a lot more material than FOX from quite a few more places.
I prefer the internet wire. MY Yahoo is set to cover several agencies, as well as headlines and financials.

Torch, you agree that your argument is invalid. Your second paragraph is not valid. I was pointing out that Reid is a man with no honor. Supposed champion on the "little guy" puts the screws to him for strictly political reasons. An honorable man would simply have stated that he did not agree with the verdict, and would abstain from voting. Instead he chose to make public a confidential profer made to the prosecution so that Dale could avoid being financially ruined. As there was no credible evidence of any kind that Dale had been guilty of anything except sloppy bookkeeping, he was found inocent.

But to please his "master" he had to "hurt" the man who'd bested his "master". Exactly how petty can one human being be to another. Be reminded it was the JFK Whitehouse who created the travel office and hired Billy Dale. I can concieve of no possible reason why anyone would stoop this low as to sic the FBI on these people so they could pay off their political allies in Arkansas. All Clintons needed to do was disband the travel office. Openly and honestly. I guess that was too much for them. Instead they took the VERY loe road of dishonestyt and personalpolitical character assassination with the intent to ruin a number of inocent people. In the last 100 years, what other presidents have done something similar?

Why would George Bush ever thing Big Oil is ripping off the American public, when Exxon makes $89 billion and Chevron makes $53 billion in the first quarter??? EekWith those kind of profits, they're just padding his coffers.
If you're in bed with Big Oil, you'd be stupid to want to take money away from the oil companies! Mad

Peter,

You missed my point. It wasn't about validity. It was concerning the ability to counter a charge or comment being made from either side of the isle.

Torch,
Exxon, 'big oil', ALL made in the U.S.A., lets not forget the benefits, dividends that support pension plans for individuals, groups in the public & private sector. JOBS! Eek, 45% of their profits back into exploration, development, and production, ya need folks to do all of this.

THIS IS WHO IS TEACHING TODAY'S COLLEGE STUDENTS:
================================================
Brendon L. Laster, 32, a black fund-raiser at Howard University here, who has been watching the marches. "What's going to happen to our unfinished agenda?"

Mr. Laster is dapper and cosmopolitan, a part-time professor and Democratic activist who drinks and dines with a wide circle of black, white and Hispanic friends. He said he marveled at first as the images of cheering, flag-waving immigrants flickered across his television screen. But as some demonstrators proclaimed a new civil rights movement, he grew uncomfortable.

He says that immigrant protesters who claim the legacy of Dr. King and Rosa Parks are going too far. And he has begun to worry about the impact that the emerging immigrant activism will have on black Americans, many of whom still face poverty, high rates of unemployment and discrimination in the workplace.

"I think what they were able to do, the level of organization they were able to pull off, that was phenomenal," said Mr. Laster, who is also a part-time sociology professor at a community college in Baltimore. "But I do think their struggle is, in fundamental ways, very different from ours. We didn't chose to come here; we came here as slaves. And we were denied, even though we were legal citizens, our basic rights."
