TODAY, I HAVE A TON OF THINGS TO DO. ALREADY PUT THE RED CEDAR IN THE FRONT FLOWER GARDEN AND ONE OF THE SIDE GARDENS. THAT TOOK A WHILE. I PROBABLY SHOULD CUT THE GRASS NOW, BUT DAMN IT'S GETTING HOT OUT THERE....HUMID TOO. I WON'T DO IT TOMORROW AS I WAS TAUGHT BY MY PARENTS GROWING UP THAT YOU DON'T MAKE NOISE ON A SUNDAY (YEAH, I KNOW)

AND WITH THE RAIN COMING THIS WEEK, (AGAIN) IT'S GOING TO GET TOO LONG IF I WAIT. SO I GUESS I ANSWERED MY OWN THOUGHTS..... I'M OFF TO CUT THE GRASS NOW.

After carefully prioritizing my daily list of things to accomplish, I'm going to do zip until 4 pm. Then my wife sends her butt-husband to work.

My vacation of one week is underway. So today I plan to mow the lawn with a push mower, powered only be me.

TODAY, I HAVE TO ORDER SOME NEW EQUIPMENT, CHEMICALS, COMPOUNDS AND "STUFF" FOR MY BUSINESS. I ALSO NEED TO BUY A NEW WEED WACKER AND BLOWER, AS THEY BOTH FINALLY CRAPPED OUT ON ME. BUT HEY....THE WEED WACKER WAS 15 YRS. OLD, SO IT OWES ME NOTHING. THE BLOWER???.....MAYBE 3 YEARS OLD. GUESS IT ALL EVENS ITSELF OUT, HUH?

I'm sitting here with my dark roast and an Oats'N Honey bar reading my e-mails and to see what transpired on Hack's over the weekend. My day was shot yesterday with a nasty migraine, so I'm hoping today will be much better. I'm waiting on someone to give me invoices, so I can process them. I love 4-day work weeks.

GOOD MORNING HAS BEENS AND HAS NEVERS.

TODAY, I'M EXPECTING UPS TO DELIEVER MY GOODIES, THOUGH I DID FORGET TO ORDER A FEW OTHER ITEMS, WHICH I'LL DO HERE IN AN HOUR OR SO. THAT AND GET MY TRUCK WASHED AND LOADED FOR THE WORKLOAD AHEAD. FEELS GOOD TO BE BACK IN THE SADDLE AGAIN AFTER SO MUCH TIME OFF.

AAHHHH..... I LOVE THE SMELL OF MICROBAN IN THER MORNING.

I have my daughter, sil, and 3 grandkids up for the 4th, Last evening, our town had fireworks and we enjoyed that. The Fire Dept. shoots them off every year on a big hill. This year they cought the hill on fire.

Today, the small town parade.....kids always love it. Later on this evening, we'll light off some Fountain fireworks in the backyard.

Brats, burgers, beer! Two Dogs in the yard....my grandkids brought their Golden Retrirver......and Murphy has a friend for the Fourth.

Happy 4th to everyone and a prayer and remembrence for those that made this day possible by their sacrifices.

Right now tho.....coffee!

You have a rainy season?
Had them yesterday, and we'll have them again all day, today. Popcorn T'Storms will be popping up, with the Dew Point being so high. Humidity is at 75%. Hot stuff comes back Sunday.

We get the majority of our 'annual precip' during this time...usually mid/late June thru September.
Some storms are nasty...border to some severe 'micro bursts', high winds and flooding of the 'seasonal' creeks, washes and rivers. There are some roads that cross over these 'seasonals'...and they are prone to Flash Floods, with little or no prior warnings over the local media.
We had a good storm Wednesday that may have lasted a brief hour; but, dumped about 1.65" in some areas. Winds were at 25.
Yesterday...East Tucson area...high winds and boomers...
