Back from vacation, and just read Hackworths comments about ammo shortage. Although I haven't heard from my friends in the desert about these shortages recently, I have confidence in his info. I would hope that the administration would respond to these shortages ASAP. Our men, and women in arms deserve the best we can give.

With the November elections on the scope, I wouldn't want to give the WANNABE heros, 'KERRY', any additional help.

I'm a NEWBIE, normally moved between p/cp to Army. Got to agree on the multiple posts. Always like to to stick with subject, too many times threads turn to indvidual chat rooms, loosing the purpose of the initial post.

Colonel Hackworth's vision and opinion are valubale, some of his subjects seem to get blurred with some of his historical reference with little or no revelance. But, his subject matter he brings to light is important and he speaks out.

Anyone have any background on when he & Tom Clancy were contributing to Parameters (USAWC) back in the late 70s & early 80s?

Plus, i like to read a lot of DaveBarkers stuff on Vets. As you can tell from my S/N, i happen to care deeply what happens to Vets.

hey all, wanted to drop in. sounds like some decent people in here, look forward to being by more often. recent college grad, not from a military family, but utmost respect for those who serve(d). i got my own views on things, and if riled up enough i post 'em, but generally i like to see what's going on in p/cp and in the news. good site.

I've found that after I type a message and Click 'Post Now', I'll get the page that states to 'Go Back' because it's a duplicate post OR an ERROR page. To rectify this, I'll return to the response that I just typed and alter it slightly, i.e. add or delete a word, add a comma, etc. Works for me!!!!!!

I think you may be wrong on the one. kerry is a vet but I wonder about distinguished! his phoney baloney about cambodia and vn vets being the bad guys,and supporting hanoi jane make me a skeptic of all he stands forwhich changes as the wind blows!
