My husband and I are in the process of buying a home - our first using VA loan. We have shopped around for lenders and found three in the area. All 3 lenders are telling us different things and that makes me very uncomfortable. Does anyone have a VA lender to refer us to?

The VA is not a lender, it signs an agreement the loan will be paid.
(1) Contact the VA and get your VA Home loan Certificate.
(2) shop for a VA mortgage, simply ask them thier VA rate.
(3) compare rates and closing cost, also compare conventional loans, some beat the VA
(4) once the time clock starts, (the day you sign your sales agreement stay on top of the process.

best wishes

I am asking for any referrals to lenders who specialize in VA loans. Two out of the three lenders I have spoke with all say they are "specialized".
