RE: http://tech.military.com/equipment/view/89051/m25-snipe...fle.html?eq_id=89051
The m25: the perfect sniper-spotter rifle. For years, every branch has had complaints of the 5.56 being largely ineffective against enemy troops or terrorists who might be loaded on drugs. Khat was the drug of choice by Somalian terrorists in Mogadishu (Black Hawk Down) and hashish and cocain, opium, as well as Americanized forms of marijuana, are all too common to the enemies of modern conflicts. In essence, the 5.56 needs to be replaced, especially in a sniper-spotter role, with the m25 for more stability with each shot and reliable long-range accuracy. For more info regarding the m25/m14 action, read my posts on the m14. Cheers, And God Bless Our Troops!! |

Why do you insist on posting crap you know nothing about?
Spotter rifle? We haven't used a spotter rifle since the 90 recoilless was retired. Life ain't worth living, if ya ain't got a good cigar. |
