When is the Marine Corps going to put out an order allowing Marines to participate in the REAP (1607) Buy-Up program? Right now Marines are getting released from AD and are suddenly finding out that ever other branch of the military rates several thousand more dollars by investing 600, and yet the Marine Corps has no way to get us in?

Usually the USMC and USMC Reserves are pretty good at getting their paperwork straight. The $600 buy up is for all REAP eligible Veterans. Sounds to me like some paper pusher has his head up his 4th point of contact. Keep trying cuz VA will only pay the extra money to you starting the day you pay the $600.

yeah, unfortunately there isn't an order, and therefore there are no forms, at least as far as my S-1 can ascertain, in order for me to pay in. Yes, I'm eligible, but no I can't sign up.
