I cannot seem to find the republican GI bill being offered that’s transferable
Can someone post the Webb bill and the republican bill and in their opinion state which is best?

Also I’m going to Iraq again I’m in the Nat’l Guard and was thinking of paying the 600 to get active benefits.. I’ll have 28 months active after this tour and was wondering if it will be worth it if either bill is passed...

The Republican bill looks to be dead in the water. However from what I have read they left the transfer of benefits out of what the senate just approved. But they say they are still looking at it. The $600 buy up is a must! It'll pay you an addition $150 per month of full time schooling. And that amount multiplied by 36 months of school equals $5400 dollars. I wish I could do that well in the stock market...and it is tax free.

KB325 thank you ...

I think the transfer of benefits should be retroactive... that shouldn't take an act of congress (IMO)

The 600$ seems fair to me...

I hope the Webb bill passes at least it does SOMETHING!!! Long overdue...

Life's gotten expensive and I feel the GIBILL has not kept-up the pace with college costs.

Live free die hard.
