I have read all these education problems that these veterans are encountering. And I have hve encountered one too. I have seemed to have missed the program which you can convertyour VEAP to MGIB, this was done like sometime 2000. I was not able to do this. I would like some advice on how I can convert my VEAP to MGIB. It is not fair that others can use the MGIB yet I have this VEAP which is not that much. I think that it should be equal acroos the board.

good evening, i have ptsd and some degree of tbi. i would like to go to school. but seeing i forget where i live sometimes seems like i won't be able to. my immediate family is able to use 128 credits thru u-wis collages. which is awesome. our esteemed govenor thinks this is unneeded. weird eh. too bad they won't go and play in the great sand box. or even make a visit.

When I looked itnto that last year I was told that the federal GI bill is non transferable. States GI bill at least in MN is transferable to the spouse of a disabled vet if they are 100% (total or IU). As for kids it is non transferable but if you are again at 100% they can attend collage free.
Best thing to do to find out exact real scoop is to talk to someone at one of the vso offices (vfw, dav, etc..)
