SPALDING — William D. “Tito” Hawrylow Jr., 60, Spalding, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2008, in Green Bay, Wis.
He was born Sept. 30, 1947, to the late William and Marvel (Perry) Hawrylow Sr. in Escanaba. After graduating from Powers-Spalding High School he was drafted into the United States Marine Corps where he served his country during the Vietnam War until 1969. Tito was an avid sportsman enjoying anything outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He also loved watching the Green Bay Packers and NASCAR. Tito is survived by two sisters, Dawn (Jerry) Wells and Penny (David) Smith, as well as nieces, nephews and friends. His parents and one sister, Sharron Veeser, preceded him in death. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 29, at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding with the Tony Revord American Legion Post 244 conducting a service at 4:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 5 p.m. at the church with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating. Burial will take place in the Spalding Cemetery in the spring. The Allo Funeral Home, Spalding, has been entrusted with the arrangements. In living memory of Tito a tree will be planted in a Michigan State Forest. It is not our belief or disbelief that can make or unmake the fact. ~ Thomas Paine |
