President Obama officially awarded the MoH to SFC Monti today...He's a credit to all Field Artillerymen.
The last figure I saw said that 155 Artilleryman have won the MoH, he would be the 156th...I don't know how accurate this number is. Does anybody have a different number? Or if not, do you know any other Artillery related MoH stories?

I don't know the current count on Artillerymen/MoH recipients but I stumbled upon the Congressional Medal of Honor website in my search. I recommend everyone takes a gander at it. It's a very humbling experience. Also, I'd like to leave a little quote here. I'm not sure who originally said it or how it exactly goes but here it is. "Do not mourn those brave men who are dead but rather be grateful that they where ever alive in the first place."
