I'm working on some leadership discussions for my division, and for it, I need a collection of "What if", "What would you do" scenarios that deal with leadership.

I figure the best source of this would be the experience and sea stories of chiefs, current and retired. I don't actually need the solutions (thats what the discussions are for, just the situation) Any help that you guys could provide would be appreciated.

An example of what I'm looking for is this:

"CTT2 Smith arrived at my command from his previous one. While he was in transit he was arrested for a domestic situation (he caught his wife cheating, and held a knife at the "other guy" and ordered him out of the house). His entire previous chain of command vouched for the quality of sailor he was. He was released to the command, but still needed to stand trial once the current deployment was over. Due to his situation he was denied access to the divisions classified spaces. We had to keep him gainfully employed, but avoid over stressing him, and ruining a perfectly good sailor"

There are plenty of leadership scenarios on these boards. Just start reading some of them.

What I meant by that was that nearly every thread on the Navy forums has something to do with leadership.

Aside from someone here compiling your list for you (you probably won't get much help with that one), that is your best bet for getting what you are looking for.

Like TMC said, take the time and read these boards. Leadership stories abound. It will take time.
BTW, I'm not real sure your example is an example of leadership. More of a supervisory role, which are certainly not the same thing.

just my .01(inflation has hit)
