When you are going for a screen test or preparing a package to go EOD, please be prepared. We just gave a screen test to a prospective student (fleet returnee). Our CMC from my MU was here and he and I also did the screen test with this Petty Officer. Your package will NOT be signed off with scores that barely pass. Stop lifting weights. Stop worrying about what crossfit workout you should do and how you look. Look at the EOD Warning order and get on that. Swim, Run, pushups, situps, flutter kicks, pullups, dips. It's not rocket science. Once you make it past dive school and are at Eglin, you can do whatever you want while maintaining your PST scores. We can only help you out so much with motivation. You HAVE TO DO IT ON YOUR OWN TIME! It's really frustrating when someone comes by the shop and tells us his scores and then asks me, "Do your scores really matter?". Yes, he actuall asked me that. Needless to say, I wasn't happy being asked that. If for nothing else, it shows you care and are giving effort if you have good scores. If you really want this, I'll even work out with guys here in Bahrain, but you better want it. Bottom line, do not come to us with minimums and DON'T STOP AN EXERCISE BEFORE YOUR TWO MINUTES ARE UP! If you have thirty seconds left and put your knee down...UNSAT.
Thanks Gator...I'm working towards an EOD contract right now with my recruiter. I've been reading this forum for awhile and always find your posts interesting/helpful.
