EODMU 7 is now EODOSU 7 based in San Diego. The mission statement is as follows:
MISSION STATEMENT “EODOSU SEVEN will provide continuous operational logistics support to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group ONE forces consolidated at NAB Coronado in order to gain efficiencies of economies of scale. On order, EODOSU SEVEN will provide trained and equipped reserve component EOD companies and platoons to designated fleet response plan and operational plan requirements ranging from major theater war to homeland defense in order to transparently support the active component EOD force. On order, EODOSU SEVEN will provide limited combat support and limited combat service support to designated, deployed EOD forces from major theater war to homeland defense in order to efficiently support the EOD operator."
