I have a couple questions, it may actually fit better in a recruiter type thread, but I thought i'd start here.

One of my young Seabees is tryiogn to get into EOD. A quick background and his obstacles he's encountered.

He is presently a BU2, with less then 6 years and highly motivated.(was my gunner on my last deployment)exactly what EOD has put out, that they are looking for.
Reserve recruiter says he needs to talk to AD recruiter(makes sense), and he has, but the AD recruiter is telling him , he needs to get out of his reserve contract with hsi current bat.,and then would basically sit on an AD wait list, adn could get picked up by anyone, not necessarily EOD. I thought this a little strange. I have a call into our S-1 as well. The NOSC has been no help apparently. SO I htought I'd put it out here to see if anyone had soem insight, or ideas, about how my guy can get this done.
